New BMW i3: Electrification of the "New Class" from 2026

Electrified performance: The iM3

According to Road & Track, BMW plans to launch the iM3, an electric M variant of the new model series, alongside the new i3. Production of the iM3 is expected to begin in March 2027. The iM3 will be equipped with a powerful drive system tailored to the specific requirements of the M models. It is expected to be come with a four-motor drive system, M-specific seats and optional carbon-ceramic brakes.
