NZXT has launched its latest prebuilt gaming PC fabricated around its popular H510 case. The new Starter PC series comes in three models starting from US$700 and which is good for playing recent titles at 1080p/60 fps. It isn’t going to set the world on fire, but of course, it is easily upgradeable and will get you started on some serious gaming in the meantime.
The Starter sits on a MSI B365M MORTAR motherboard and is powered by an Intel Core i3-9100F quad-core CPU with a base clock of 3.6 GHz. This is mated to 8 GB of 3,000 MHz DDR4 XMP RAM and a MSI GeForce GTX 1650 D6 Ventus XZ OC GPU. It is fitted with a 512 GB Intel 660p M.2 SSD while the power supply is an EVGA 450W Bronze model. NZXT says this model is good for 1080p gaming on COD: Modern Warfare at 62 fps, Fortnite at 67 fps and Rainbow Six Siege at 92 fps.
If you want to go to the Starter Plus model, the extra US$200 will get you parts upgrades that push performance for 1080p gaming up to 94 fps for COD: Modern Warfare, 83 fps for Fortnite and 173 fps for Rainbow Six Siege. The Starter Pro model ratchets the price up US$100 to US$1,000. This boosts performance at 1080p to 102 fps for COD: Modern Warfare, 101 fps for Fortnite and 176 fps for Rainbow Six Siege.
