Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G (2023) new leak reveals press images and colours
Motorola is preparing to refresh the Moto G Stylus 5G with a 2023 model. Not to be confused with the Moto G Stylus (2023), its global and 4G counterpart, the Moto G Stylus 5G (2023) was first seen last month courtesy of @OnLeaks. Now, Evan Blass has shared promotional images of the forthcoming 5G model in two colours, which also confirm @OnLeaks' earlier CAD-based renders.
Last year, Motorola distinguished the 4G and 5G versions of the Moto G Stylus mainly on hardware, with a 120 Hz chipset and a more powerful chipset. While the latter may be true of their 2023 successors, the Moto G Stylus 5G (2023) appears to have thinner display bezels than its 4G counterpart. Additionally, Motorola will switch to a curved display for this year's 5G model; the Moto G Stylus (2023) will retain a flat display.
As expected, Motorola will continue to remove rear-facing cameras from the Moto G Stylus 5G. For reference, the 2021 edition contained four rear-facing cameras, which dropped to three last year. This time around, the Moto G Stylus 5G will offer two rear-facing cameras, likely 50 MP primary and 8 MP ultra-wide-angle sensors. Pricing and availability remain unknown for now, although the publication of press images implies that Motorola is close to announcing both 4G and 5G models.
