Mid-range "Pro Max" Android with battery far beyond 10,000 mAh launching soon; industry-first cell tech tipped

Huawei is reportedly ready to escalate the smartphone battery endurance race. While former subsidiary Honor and rivals like Vivo and Realme have already broken into the 10,000mAh segment, Huawei is looking to dethrone them all with even more ambitious capacity.

According to leakster Digital Chat Station, the Chinese giant is currently testing a unique new battery system with a capacity labeled as "10,000mAh+++", which could mean anything from 11,000 mAh to 20,000 mAh. Realistically, the truth might be somewhere in the middle - unless we're underestimating Huawei's genius.

The info claims that Huawei has developed a proprietary battery material to achieve this milestone. While the Silicon-Carbon tech is currently the gold standard for high-density batteries, Huawei’s new solution might further address the thickness and weight associated with five-digit mAh ratings.

As reported by Huawei Central, and given Huawei's current trajectory, the upcoming Huawei Enjoy 100 series might be the most likely candidate to house the new battery tech. 

It comes as no surprise that Huawei plans to debut this massive cell in its mid-range lineup before bringing it to top-tier phones like the Huawei Pura 90 Pro Max. Android phone makers often like to test new tech in more affordable phones before taking the risk with their flagships.
