Bing Chat Enterprise rolled out yesterday for Preview customers, which means that over 160 million people can give it a try right away (according to Microsoft). Alongside it, the Redmond-based tech giant has also revealed the pricing of Microsoft 365 Copilot. Scheduled to arrive in the coming months, this tool will carry a US$30 price tag (monthly, per user) for Microsoft 365 E3, E5, Business Standard, and Business Premium customers.
In addition to using the already available Bing Chat core, Bing Chat Enterprise comes as a tool that uses AI while maintaining a commercial-grade level of data protection. As Microsoft explains, "What goes in — and comes out — remains protected. Chat data is not saved, and Microsoft has no eyes-on access – which means no one can view your data." This way, the client's data is not used to train the models, but Bing Chat Enterprise remains capable of delivering better answers when researching insights, analyzing data, or just brainstorming online.
The preview version of Bing Chat Enterprise is freely available in Microsoft 365 E3, E5, Business Standard, and Business Premium. Once out of this stage, it will be priced at US$5 (monthly fee per user). In the future, Microsoft promises to offer access to Bing Chat Enterprise via Windows Copilot as well.
Last but not least, Microsoft also announced the availability of Visual Search in Bing Chat. As its name suggests, this tool allows the user to upload a picture (or use one already available online) and get related content. Bing Chat Enterprise will receive it in the future as well.
