Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio: European release date, configurations and prices revealed by retailer
It seems that Microsoft is finally getting around to releasing the Surface Laptop Studio outside North America, a device that it unveiled in September 2021. When the Surface Laptop Studio debuted, Microsoft stated it would wait until 'early 2022' before it brought the machine to Europe, India and the UK. However, it has not commented any further on the matter; Microsoft still showcases the Surface Book 3 at its London Experience Centre, too.
While Microsoft remains quiet on the Surface Laptop Studio's global release, @TechInsiderBlog has discovered several product listings on a European website. As the screenshot below shows, the retailer expects all SKUs to arrive on February 22, 2022. It is unclear if Microsoft will sell the Surface Laptop Studio with a 2 TB SSD outside North America. @TechInsiderBlog insists that a 2 TB option will be available, but these are the configurations that the European retailer shows and how their prices compare to those in the US.

Please note that these leaked prices probably include VAT, which ranges from 17% to 27% in Europe. Incidentally, if these prices include VAT at 20%, then the Surface Laptop Studio would be cheaper in Europe than in North America, at current exchange rates. Microsoft has not upgraded the Surface Laptop Studio in any way since September either, so it is still running Tiger Lake processors and the entry-level RTX 3050 Ti.
