Microsoft Copilot with DALL-E 3 can now be accessed easily through WhatsApp
Microsoft is bringing its Copilot tech to social media apps. The tech giant has a program titled "Copilot for Social Apps" and as the name suggests, it aims to make social media apps smarter with Copilot's help. Previously, Telegram got a Copilot chatbot. Now, WhatsApp has received its Copilot infusion, too.
Meta launched its Meta AI assistant for WhatsApp in April 2024 so as not to fall behind in the AI race. The assistant can both answer text queries and do some AI image generation. Now, a second option is available and to use it, one doesn't have to sign-up for a Microsoft account. You can simply visit Microsoft's official website to scan the code and chat with Copilot in WhatsApp. Alternatively, you may click here to chat directly with Copilot.
Much like Meta AI, Copilot in WhatsApp can answer written questions and it can also generate images using DALL-E 3. Additionally, users can ask Copilot to describe the contents of an uploaded image for them.
Talking about cons, this specific edition of Copilot is reportedly not as seamless as Meta AI. Being a native add-on, Meta AI can be opened easily with a dedicated button or using a search bar and it can also do things such as understanding references to specific previous messages - something Copilot can't do as of yet.
