North American reseller Maingear has announced that all of its gaming rigs will now ship with Windows 10 pre-installed. This includes the powerful Pulse and Nomad notebooks in addition to its Steam-ready DRIFT and SHIFT devices.

Currently, however, the notebooks do not yet sport Broadwell CPUs. Models can be equipped with up to a Core i7-4980HQ and GTX 980M GPU on most configurations, which should prove to be powerful enough for gaming at 1080p. Nonetheless, it's a little disappointing considering that Maingear notebooks can start as high as $2000.

Maingear specializes in the rebranding of MSI notebook shells including those from the high-end GT series and ultrathin GS series. Most notably, the reseller will customize the color of the outer lid with options ranging from White to Yellow, Red, Blue, or Green. The Glasurit paint is the same material used for Porsche and BMW luxury vehicles.
