MSI: Three new All-in-One PCs introduced with brand new Intel processors, also with touchscreen
The manufacturer MSI has presented three new All-in-One PCs. These come with a screen and can, therefore, be used without any tangled cables in the best-case scenario. The three models are also each available with three different processors, specifically the Intel Core 3 100U, Intel Core 5 120U, or the Intel Core 7 150U. Two slots for up to 64 gigabytes of DDR5 RAM with a speed of 5,200 MHz are available. An NVMe SSD can be installed, and a 2.5-inch hard disk can also be retrofitted. This allows larger amounts of data to be stored at a reasonable price - with tolerable limitations in terms of data transfer rate, for example, when playing media.
The Modern AM242 1M always comes with a 23.8-inch screen with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels that can only be tilted, while the screen of the AM242P AM1 is height-adjustable and can also process touch inputs in the Modern AM242TP version. The screen of the Modern AM272P 12M measures 27 inches diagonally, but, unfortunately, the resolution is the same, which means that the display is no longer very sharp.
Two speakers are installed in all versions, each with an output of 2.5 watts, and a Full HD webcam is also available. Devices can be connected to a network via Ethernet at Gigabit speed and also wirelessly via an Intel AX211 module with WiFi 6E support. The module also provides Bluetooth 5.3.
There are two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A and Type-C ports on the side, as well as a combined audio jack. There is one HDMI input and one HDMI output, and the HDMI output supports 4K resolution at 60 Hz. There are also two additional USB 2.0 Type-A ports at the rear. MSI has left it at a general announcement, so prices or an exact release date are unknown.
