Reviews for the MSI Modern 14 B11SB, i5-1135G7

80% MSI Modern 14 (B11MO) Review: Hits the Spot
Source: NDTV Gadgets English
The MSI Modern 14 (B11MO) hits a pretty sweet spot with the price versus performance on offer. For around Rs. 55,000, it delivers a current-gen Intel CPU, plenty of storage space, good performance for office-related tasks, and most importantly, good battery life. A few things that could have been better are the display and the stereo speakers. If you're looking for a stylish, portable laptop with good battery life, plenty of physical ports, and solid performance, the MSI Modern 14 (B11MO) is definitely worth considering.

Intel Iris Xe G7 80EUs: Integrated graphics card in Intel Tiger Lake G7 SoCs based on the new Gen. 12 architecture with 80 EUs (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). The clock rate depends on the processor model. The Tiger Lake chips are produced in the modern 10nm+ process at Intel.

Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

There are hardly any tablets in this display size range anymore. For subnotebooks, on the other hand, it is the standard format.

The advantage of subnotebooks is that the entire laptop can be small and therefore easily portable. The smaller display also has the advantage of requiring less power, which further improves battery life and thus mobility. The disadvantage is that reading texts is more strenuous on the eyes. High resolutions are more likely to be found in standard laptops.

The company is also active in workstations, servers and industrial automation. MSI has offices in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.

80%: This rating is not earth-shattering. This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones. A purchase recommendation can only be seen with a lot of goodwill, unless it is about websites that generally rate strictly.
