MINISFORUM announced the EliteMini X400 late last year, but the company did not initially announce the pricing or configurations of its latest mini-PC. Now, the device is orderable, although no longer with an AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 4750G. Instead, MINISFORUM currently offers the EliteMini X400 with two lesser APUs from AMD's Renoir product stack.
Specifically, the EliteMini X400 can be configured with a Ryzen 3 PRO 4350G or a Ryzen 5 PRO 4650G, along with 16 GB of SO-DIMM RAM. Additionally, these components can be supplemented with 256 GB or 512 GB of storage from a starting price of US$629 if you order from MINISFORUM directly.
All SKUs rely on integrated graphics, which is the Radeon RX Vega 5 in the case of the Ryzen 3 PRO 4350G and the Radeon RX Vega 6 with the Ryzen 5 PRO 4650G. All SKUs measure 154 x 153 x 62 mm and come with numerous ports, including HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort outputs. Moreover, there are four USB 3.0 Type-A ports, two RJ45 ports and WiFi 6 connectivity.
While MINISFORUM sells the EliteMini X400 through its web shop, Geekbuying offers the same four SKUs, too. However, the latter sells models with 8 GB of RAM rather than 16 GB, which allows Geekbuying to charge as little as US$579 for the EliteMini X400.
