The 2022 MacBook Air is currently on sale at its lowest price ever. 

The M2 MacBook Air is on sale at Amazon for 17% off, bringing its price down to $829.00. According to CamelCamelCamel, this matches the lowest price that Amazon has ever sold this laptop.

This steep discount applies to the base model of the M2 MacBook Air, which has 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD. In our review of this model, we highlighted the notebook's excellent build quality, slim case, and silent operation. We also noted its long battery life and good overall display.

However, we also noted the lack of Thunderbolt 4 support and high base price (which was $1199 at the time of the review). With the launch of the M3 MacBook Air, Apple dropped the price of the M2 model to $999. Today's sale drops that price even more, making it one of the cheapest ways to get into Apple's laptop ecosystem.

The M2 MacBook Air with 512 GB of storage is also on sale for $1029, a 14% discount. While this isn't the lowest price for which the laptop has been sold, it's only $30 more than its cheapest (according to CamelCamelCamel).
