The gist of the matter is that the Alienware AW2725QF is a well-rounded gaming monitor that exceeds Dell's officially claimed brightness and contrast targets. The monitor delivers more than 750 nits of max HDR brightness, 486 nits of SDR brightness, wide viewing angles, and a low input lag.

There are a few issues, namely, HDR performance that falls short of modern standards, and unimpressive response times. However, these seem like minor problems when we consider the hardware on offer.
