Total War: Shogun 2 is a turn-based strategy game with real-time battles in which you must expand your empire, defeat your opponents, and manage your army. And it is currently available for less than $6 on Steam.

Developed by Creative Assembly and published by SEGA, Total War: Shogun 2 is a turn-based strategy game released on March 15, 2011, on Steam. And according to SteamDB, it is currently 80% off and available for $5.99 instead of $29.99 until July 16, 2026.

This game takes place in the heart of the 16th century, in feudal Japan. The country, which was once united, is now divided into several clans engaged in a fierce struggle for power. As a player, you take on the role of a warlord, and your goal is to reunify Japan and become the new Shogun.

To achieve this, you'll need to lead your army into various real-time battles, whether on land or at sea. Thus, use your samurai to defeat each opponent and command your fleet of ships to attack your enemies' weak points.

Managing your empire will also have a major impact on your mission. You’ll need to develop your cities, gather various resources, and meet the needs of your citizens. As for cities captured from the enemy, you’ll also need to make the right political and military decisions.

Finally, it's also possible to play the main campaign with another player. In addition, online battles with up to eight players are available.
