Deal | Loved by 82% of players, this turn-based tactical RPG set in a dark fantasy world is 72% off on Steam

Gloomhaven is the digital adaptation of the tabletop game created by Isaac Childres, released on October 20, 2021, on Steam. Developed by Saber Interactive and Flaming Fowl Studios, this RPG immerses you in a medieval dark fantasy world where you must forge your own destiny.
Thus, whether you're playing solo or in co-op mode with up to four players, you'll explore this world by forming a team of two to four characters, each with unique skills and attacks. Your goal is to complete various missions in dungeons while fulfilling the objectives for each mercenary to earn gold, experience, and unlock new abilities.
However, you’ll need to defeat your opponents in turn-based tactical card battles. To do so, you’ll need to use the right strategy for each mercenary and choose the right part of the card, whether it’s the top or bottom. But be careful, because every action has a cost, and you’ll need to make the right choices.
The Gloomhaven board game campaign is also available, allowing you to complete 95 missions in which you’ll be the master of your own destiny. In addition, the Guildmaster mode, featuring 160 missions, lets you discover new stories, quests, and characters.

As for Steam reviews, this game has received 82% positive reviews out of more than 16,000 reviews. On Metacritic, it has a Metascore of 82 despite a user score of 6.5. Players love its world, its gameplay mechanics, and its replayability. However, some players complained about the multiplayer mode, and several people have mentioned a lack of balance in combat.
Gloomhaven is currently 72% off on Steam, available for $9.79. But according to SteamDB, this sale ends on August 18, 2026, and its price will return to $34.99.
