MagyarLords of the Fallen hits one million sales in record time
The reboot of the 2014 game has been a huge success for CI Games and its HexWorks game studio. Lords of the Fallen is a Soulslike game that stands out for its challenging combat and dark atmosphere.
Apparently, the dark fantasy RPG is selling very well despite massive problems at its launch (bugs, performance, crashes). HexWorks and CI Games have been releasing patches with bug fixes for Lords of the Fallen practically every day and even casually comments on the game's teething problems with "Another day, another patch". On Steam, Lords of the Fallen currently ranks 44th on the Top 100 Seller charts.
Compared to other genre representatives, such as Lies of P, which took around a month to sell a million game copies, Lords of the Fallen is doing very well so far. Gamers appear to be fascinated by the setting and the two-kingdom mechanics, where you can travel between Axiom, the world of the living, and Umbral, the world of the dead, and face demonic hordes and monstrous bosses in both worlds as a dark crusader of the Church of Orius (Dark Crusader).
"Lords of the Fallen is the biggest and most important game we have developed in our 20-year history, and the first of several AAA titles we have planned for the future," said Marek Tyminski, CEO of CI Games. "Seeing this new and innovative take on the action RPG reach one million sales in just ten days is a great honor for everyone at HexWorks and CI Games."

Lords of the Fallen is available as a complete reboot of the franchise for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
