Limited edition Casio collab watch with pink display launches

Casio has revealed a new collaboration watch in the US: the G-Shock DW6900HH-5. Designed in partnership with skate hardware and accessories brand Hardies NYC, this digital watch has a brown and pink design.

The Casio G-Shock x Hardies watch is based on the DW6900 model. It has a digital display at the bottom of the face, showing the time in 12 or 24 hour formats, alongside information like the day of the week and the date. Above this screen is a Triple Graph, linked to features like the 1/100th second stopwatch. Other on-watch tools include a countdown timer, hourly time signals, flash alerts and a multifunction alarm. Plus, an LED backlight can illuminate the display in low lighting, and the model is marketed as water resistant to 200 m.

This G-Shock DW6900HH-5 has a rich brown colored resin casing, measuring 53.2 x 50.0 x 18.7 mm (~2.09 x 1.97 x 0.74 inches), with a matching strap. Surrounding the pink tone display and Triple Graph is a mirrored Double H monogram pattern. There are other neon pink accents on the bezel, and the Hardies logo can also be seen on the strap. This watch comes with customized packaging, with the same monogram pattern as on the watch.

The Casio G-Shock x Hardies NYC DW6900HH-5 watch will be released at the brand’s US online store at 5 PM EST on January 21st. It will retail for $150, and is also expected to be available through retailers like Zumiez and Dept Stores from January 22nd. It is said to be a limited edition model, though it is unclear how many units will be released, and whether or not it will be exclusive to the US.
