The Zuk branding was created to better compete against the likes of Huawei, Xiaomi, and others as Lenovo has been slowly losing market share in its home territory against rising competitors. The Chinese manufacturer is also increasing its mobile efforts internationally with the recently announced Phab 2 family of smartphones. Not only will the Phab 2 Pro be the first consumer smartphone with Google Tango, but it will also be the first Lenovo smartphone to officially launch in North America.
