The above specifications and price points show that Lenovo will be marketing the Phab 2 family from the budget range all the way up to the flagship model with Tango. All models will be available in North America starting this September and slowly roll out to additional regions around the world by the end the year. The Phab 2 Pro will be GSM only and we've been told that Lenovo has a 6-month exclusivity deal with Google on Project Tango. Thus, more devices sporting the technology from other manufacturers are likely to come in the near future. These Lenovo models mark the first time that the manufacturer will be launching smartphones in the U.S. as most releases remain in Asia and Europe.

From our short time with the three devices, the size and weight differences between them are very noticeable despite the fact that all have 6.4-inch displays. The plastic build on the budget Phab 2 also pales in comparison to the dense and heavy aluminum build of the Phab 2 Pro. Stay tuned for more information and details on these smartphones as the event continues.
