The mainstream 13.3-inch notebook weighs 1.2 kg, is just 13.9 mm thick, and includes Iris graphics options.

Lenovo unveiled the mid-range 13.3-inch IdeaPad 710S at CES 2016 and it is now finally available for purchase across Europe. Prices start at 900 Euros with just a Silver color option. Currently, only two configurations are available:

Both will be equipped with Intel IGP only as far as graphics are concerned, which is a bit disappointing considering the 4-digit prices. The i5-6200U SKU will carry the HD Graphics 520 while the i7-6560U SKU will use the Iris Graphics 540. The latter in particular should provide a major graphics boost over the Graphics 520 as this same processor option is also available on the Surface Pro 4. Otherwise, both configurations are essentially identical in connectivity and features including their FHD IPS displays.

More details and specifications on the IdeaPad 710S can be found on Lenovo's official product page below.

After graduating with a B.S. in environmental hydrodynamics from the University of California, I studied reactor physics to become licensed by the U.S. NRC to operate nuclear reactors. There's a striking level of appreciation you gain for everyday consumer electronics after working with modern nuclear reactivity systems astonishingly powered by computers from the 80s.
