ZUK may unveil flagship Z2 smartphone next week
According to the source, the new ZUK smartphone will carry the following specifications:
- FHD touchscreen
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC
- Integrated Adreno 530 GPU
- 3 GB to 4 GB RAM
- 32 GB eMMC
- 13 MP rear + 8 MP front cameras

Unknowns include the final screen size of the smartphone and whether or not the device will be named the ZUK Z2 or ZUK Z2 Pro. An official announcement is expected next week on April 21st according to the ZUK CEO Chang Cheng on Chinese social network Weibo.
The ZUK smartphone brand was founded as a spin-off from Lenovo in May of 2015. One of its goals was to improve Lenovo's chances to better compete in the Asian markets where competition from the likes of Huawei, Xiaomi, Oppo, and other Chinese manufacturers are growing tighter. The ZUK 1 with CynogenOS was announced last year and its successor was confirmed just shortly thereafter.
