Acer Iconia Tab 10 A3 coming this June for 200 Euros

The Taiwanese manufacturer has announced a revised Iconia Tab 10 baring the model name Iconia Tab 10 A3-A40 for sale in parts of Europe for 200 Euros. According to Acer, the tablet comes with improved Quadio speakers for better virtual surround sound and DTS-HD capabilities. This also allows for 5.1 Surround Sound output through the audio jack or Micro-HDMI port or even wireless streaming to compatible home theaters. The same brand of speakers can also be found on the Acer Predator gaming series of notebooks.

Core specifications include:

• Quad-core MediaTek MT8163A 64-bit SoC (ARM Cortex-A53)
• 1920 x 1200 resolution touchscreen
• 2 GB RAM
• 32 GB eMMC w/ MicroSD support up to 128 GB
• 5 MP rear w/ auto-focus + 2 MP front cameras
• Android 6.0 Marshmallow
• 6100 mAh battery

Another noteworthy feature of the tablet is the "Precision Plus" display with fingerprint-resistant coating. Its sensory grid can recognize inputs from fingers as well as styluses and conventional pens and pencils. Unfortunately, the manufacturer makes no mention of the type of display (capacitive or resistive) on the official specifications sheet for the tablet.
