Reviews for the Lenovo Yoga Slim 6 14APU8

This Lenovo Yoga Slim 6 is one of the best-value mid-range laptops available today. It's built well and looks good, offers good inputs and IO and a beautiful display, and bundles competent hardware that can handle daily chores and occasional work/gaming loads well. All for way under 1000 EUR over here. My only concern is with the OLED panel on this variant; if possible, I'd rather get one of the IPS options.

The Lenovo Slim 6 has a lot to love based on our first impressions. We love the solid aluminium build quality, there are plenty of ports available and from what we have experienced so far, you get a decent sized display within a portable format. We have yet to test the performance of the Yoga Slim 6 so we will reserve any judgement on hardware until we have seen and experienced this device in full, but we have plenty of enthusiasm from what we've seen so far.

AMD Radeon 780M: Integrated graphics card in the Ryzen 7040 mobile series APUs based on the RDNA3 architecture with 12 CUs (= 768 shaders) and a clock speed of up to 3 GHz.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

There are hardly any tablets in this display size range anymore. For subnotebooks, on the other hand, it is the standard format.
The advantage of subnotebooks is that the entire laptop can be small and therefore easily portable. The smaller display also has the advantage of requiring less power, which further improves battery life and thus mobility. The disadvantage is that reading texts is more strenuous on the eyes. High resolutions are more likely to be found in standard laptops.
