Lenovo Yoga 6 (13) review – stain-resistant fabric cover and Ryzen 4000U processors on board
Source: Laptop Media English Archive.org version
Apart from the rather inefficient cooling setup, and the lack of memory upgrades, this notebook delivered a more than a good experience for the end-user. Its processor and NVMe storage provide a super snappy experience and the touchscreen seemed to work really well, although we weren’t able to use it with a dedicated Pen.

84.7% Lenovo Yoga 6 13 Convertible Review: Laptops Have Clothes and Fabric Now | Notebookcheck
Lenovo is taking the concept of "stylish" to another level by incorporating fabric onto the chassis for a unique look and feel. It actually works, but its visual appeal will likely divide users especially since the fabric can make the laptop look like an old piece of clothing.

85% AMD Ryzen 7 5700U vs. Ryzen 5 5500U: Lenovo Yoga 6 13 convertible review | Notebookcheck
Zen 2 may be old news, but it still has a lot of gas left in the pedal. Upgrading to the Ryzen 7 5700U Yoga 6 13 can offer a decent boost to overall performance for about $50 USD more than the Ryzen 5 5500U configuration.

The Yoga 6 is so far Lenovo’s best effort in becoming greener, and with a small change to the design and the base, it can be a fantastic portable machine for Designers and Creative professionals, who like a smaller form factor and want a portable machine. In the future, we would like to see the latest processors, which bring new and better technologies.

Lenovo Yoga 6 Review - A Stylish 2-in-1 Laptop

Lenovo's new stylish budget 2-in-1 laptop is out in our market. It is a 13" laptop and it is equipped with a Ryzen 7 5700U, 1TB of SSD, and 16GB of DDR4 ram. Lenovo is not new when it comes to 2-in-1 laptops, and the real question here is, will the Lenovo Yoga 6 be enough for Lenovo to conquer the 2-in-1 market?

The Lenovo Yoga 6 is a great little portable laptop that excels at use away from a desk, thanks to its generous battery life and flexible 360-degree hinge. Its shell is plastic but the fabric-covered lid delivers some personality; it’s more distinctive than that of the average plastic PC. The Yoga 6’s keyboard is very good, and the glass touchpad is one of the best around. If you’ll mostly use your laptop at home, consider a Lenovo Yoga 7-series device instead. It’s classier, the 14-inch screen makes apps look better, the latest models feature sharper panels, and they handle games better, too.

The Lenovo Yoga 6 is a wonderful laptop that not only looks good, but works well thanks to its AMD Ryzen 7 CPU, clicky keyboard and long battery life. However, if you don’t like dim displays, and can’t stand when laptops get hot, you might want something else. Try looking at the HP Pavilion Aero 13, which is one of the lightest laptops around that offers a super bright display. But overall, you won’t find a laptop that looks as cool as the Yoga 6, and this one even flips.

The 13-inch Yoga 6 grew on us from our initial impressions, proving itself a solid all-around convertible. The price is very fair for the components, and the build quality doesn’t leave much room for complaint. The base model would be a great deal too, if you’re okay with a slightly lower amount of power. The display and webcam don't distinguish themselves, but hitting average in some areas is fine at this price point. If you’re shopping for a no-fuss, sub-$1,000 ultraportable, and you like the fabric lid, you could do much worse than the Yoga 6.

Lenovo Yoga 6 review: A stylish convertible with AMD Ryzen 5000 processors
Source: XDA Developers English Archive.org version
The Lenovo Yoga 6 is a laptop I like almost every way. The fabric-covered design is definitely one of my favorite aspect of it as it makes this a truly unique device compared to just about anything else. You also get strong performance courtesy of AMD’s Ryzen 5000 series processors, and the versatility of a convertible form factor like this is a big plus, too. The Lenovo Yoga 6 competes very closely with the HP Pavilion Aero, both in terms of price and specs. We found the HP Pavilion Aero to be one of the very best laptops you can get for this price, but the Yoga 6 has some notable advantages. For starters, it’s a convertible, and for me, that would be enough reason to choose it over the Pavilion Aero. The fabric-covered design is also very welcome, but it’s ultimately up to you if you like that look. In the long-term, it won’t impact usability that much. On the other hand, it’s worse on a few technical levels. The display isn’t as bright, and it can be hard to see outdoors, plus HP is using a taller screen that’s great if you want to get work done.

Lenovo Yoga 6 review: AMD helps bring performance and price to the masses
Source: On MSFT English Archive.org version
Since getting the Yoga 6 for review the number of satisfied customers on the Best Buy review page has only increased. It would seem the Yoga 6 offers a lot for its price point and sits comfortably at the new mid-range point for PCs. While many of the readers here covet the $1,000 and up devices for their power, brand association and hard to get specs, there is a much larger market that sits just below. Customers are mostly content with a vivid touchscreen, enough power to do averagely well in most categories and a piece of hardware light enough to carry from the class, office, or the coffee shop and back home. The Lenovo Yoga 6 does all the above and with a unique style the blends premium with a novel design that stands out against the sea of aluminum clad casings. In short, the Lenovo Yoga 6 isn't a power device, it isn't necessarily the cheapest, but the AMD model does offer customers a taste of both at a reasonable asking price.

Lenovo Yoga 6 Gen 7 Review: A major improvement in almost every way
Source: XDA Developers English
All in all, the Lenovo Yoga 6 nails almost all the basics of being a great convertible in this price range, and it’s easier to recommend than its predecessor. With all the improvements Lenovo has made this year, the Yoga 6 Gen 7 is a fantastic laptop with very little to dislike. The biggest thing to look out for is the battery life, which probably won’t be good enough if you want to spend a whole day away from an outlet and using the laptop actively. If your usage is lighter, though, that shouldn’t be a huge problem.

88% Lenovo Yoga 6 Gen8 review: Convertible with new Ryzen 7 7730U and fabric cover | Notebookcheck
Visually, Lenovo's Yoga 6 definitely stands out due to its colour-accentuated, fabric-covered display lid. The mobile Ryzen 7 also earns some plus points, not only offering high performance, but also fitting almost perfectly into the elegant convertible thanks to other features.

Lenovo Yoga 6 13ABR8

The Lenovo Yoga 6 is a compact 13.3-inch convertible laptop that combines stylish design with versatile performance, making it a solid option for both work and leisure. Equipped with AMD Ryzen 7 processors and an ergonomic build, it is well-suited for users seeking a portable yet capable device. Talking about its appearance, the Yoga 6 boasts a unique design with a fabric-wrapped lid reminiscent of tweed, offering visual appeal and a soft texture. However, the fabric can trap dirt and wear over time, making the aluminium lid a preferable option for frequent travellers. Despite the absence of an aluminium keyboard frame, the metallic chassis is sturdy, with minimal flex. Rounded edges, tight hinges, and a compact A4-sized form factor make the device easy to handle. At 18 mm thick and under 2 kg with the charger, it is portable enough for daily use. While the port selection, including HDMI and USB-C outputs, is sufficient for most tasks, the lack of a dedicated volume rocker can make adjustments tedious in tablet mode.
In terms of its display, this device features a 16:10 aspect ratio display with a resolution slightly above Full HD, providing ample workspace and crisp visuals. Its even illumination and strong contrast enhance indoor usability, though the low 280-nit brightness and reflective surface hinder visibility in bright environments. Furthermore, the touchscreen supports precise inputs and integrates seamlessly with Windows gesture controls, enabling efficient operation in both laptop and tablet modes. The sturdy hinges allow typing on the touchscreen without wobbling, enhancing its usability. The standard-sized keyboard is comfortable for extended typing sessions, though the arrow keys are compact and take some getting used to. With a 1 mm key travel, the feedback is decent but could be firmer. The touchpad, measuring 12 x 8 cm, is responsive and well-suited for accurate navigation, with buttons that strike a good balance between firmness and ease of use.
As far as its processor is concerned, the Yoga 6 delivers impressive multitasking and productivity capabilities with the AMD Ryzen 7 7730U processor. Its eight cores, 16 threads, and a 4.5 GHz maximum clock speed ensure fast program launches and smooth performance across multiple applications. Paired with 16 GB of RAM, the device excels in handling demanding tasks, though the 8 GB variant struggles with intensive multitasking. Apart from that, the AMD Radeon Vega 8 integrated GPU offers respectable graphics performance for light gaming and casual video editing. However, complex 3D applications and AAA games require minimal settings to run smoothly. The Yoga 6 strikes a balance between performance and power efficiency. The AMD Ryzen 7’s 15 W TDP allows the device to maintain solid performance while minimizing heat and noise, even in tablet mode. Battery-saving modes further enhance comfort by reducing fan activity. While power consumption is slightly higher than competitors at idle, the maximum draw of 47 W is modest. The included 45 W adapter charges the device efficiently without compromising performance during use. Overall, the Lenovo Yoga 6 combines portability, unique design, and strong performance in a compact convertible. While its fabric lid and low screen brightness have minor drawbacks, the excellent AMD Ryzen processor, versatile touchscreen, and robust battery life makes it a compelling choice for professionals and casual users alike.

Lenovo Yoga 6 (13, Gen 8) review – compact 2-in-1 laptop that offers great comfort during any kind of load
Source: Laptop Media English
The Lenovo Yoga 6 (13″, Gen 8) is a 13-incher that offers good portability and great comfort during any kind of load. The laptop looks modern, and we are happy to see that the aluminum lid and the base are stable with a few exceptions. The backlit keyboard is comfortable for typing because it has decent key travel and clicky feedback. The touchpad is very smooth which is a result of its glass surface. The 13.3″ 16:10 IPS display (LEN133WUXGA) is a small gem. The 1200p panel has a 99% sRGB color coverage and thanks to our Gaming and Web design profile, the color accuracy reaches an average dE value of just 0.6 which is awesome! This means you can use the display for color-sensitive work. The panel is PWM-free so it should not cause an eye-strain if you take regular breaks after an hour or two.

Lenovo: Lenovo ("Le" from English legend, novo (Latin) for new) was founded in 1984 as a Chinese computer trading company. As of 2004, the company was the largest laptop manufacturer in China and, after acquiring IBM's PC division in 2005, the fourth largest in the world. In addition to desktops and notebooks, the company manufactures monitors, projectors, servers, etc, and specializes in developing, manufacturing and marketing consumer electronics, personal computers, software, enterprise solutions and related services.

In 2016, the company ranked first in the world in computer sales. It still held it in 2023 with about 23% global market share. Important product lines are Thinkpad, Legion and Ideapad.

In 2011, it acquired a majority stake in Medion AG, a European computer hardware manufacturer. In 2014, Motorola Mobility was purchased, which gave Lenovo a boost in the smartphone market.

R7 4700U: A mobile Octa-Core APU with Zen 2 cores clocked at 2 to 4.1 GHz and a Vega graphics adapter with 7 CUs clocked at up to 1600 MHz. Compared to the faster 4800U, the 4700U offers a slightly lower boost clock speed and does not support SMT.

R5 4500U: An upper mid-range, hexa-core APU designed for use in thinner, lighter laptops. The Ryzen features Zen 2 CPU cores running at 2.3 GHz to 4.0 GHz along with the Vega 6 graphics adapter (6 x 64 = 384 unified shaders). The thread-doubling SMT technology is not enabled in the case of Ryzen 5 4500U.

AMD Lucienne (Zen 2, Ryzen 5000):
