Lenovo ThinkBook 14 Gen4 Plus: 14-inch is finally orderable with 15 W, 28 W and 45 W Intel Alder Lake processors
Lenovo has started selling the ThinkBook 14 Gen4 Plus, a laptop that the company introduced in January at CES 2022. Currently only offered in Malaysia, the ThinkBook 14 G4 Plus features an unusual option of 15 W-45 W processors. Specifically, Lenovo allows people to configure the ThinkBook 14 G4 Plus with one of the following processors:
- Intel Core i5-1235U
- Intel Core i5-1240P
- Intel Core i5-12500H
- Intel Core i7-1255U
- Intel Core i7-1260P
- Intel Core i7-12700H
For some reason, Lenovo only provides the GeForce RTX 2050 as a configurable option if you elect for a 28 W or 45 W processor. Additionally, Lenovo provides biometric, camera, display, SSD and Wi-Fi upgrades. Unfortunately, 32 GB of RAM is only available with the Core i7-1260P and the Core i7-12700H. All configurations come with a 62 Wh battery, a 100 W power adapter and in an Arctic Grey colourway, though.
As it stands, Lenovo has not listed the ThinkBook 14 G4 Plus in other markets like Europe, the UK or the US. However, the company stated at CES 2022 that the machine would be available later this month in the US from US$859.
