Deal | Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7 14 is the cheapest laptop with GeForce MX350 graphics and Thunderbolt 3 right now at just $599 USD
One of Lenovo's most well-rounded Ultrabooks this year has been the 14-inch IdeaPad Slim 7. The system is only a bit thicker than a costlier Yoga while still retaining many of its high-end features like an aluminum chassis, 1080p display with full sRGB coverage, and even Thunderbolt 3 support. The current sale at Staples for a specific configuration of the IdeaPad Slim 7 is the best we've seen thus far.
For $599 USD, the system comes with a discrete GeForce MX350 GPU to be able to play popular titles like Rocket League, DOTA 2, LoL, or Overwatch at 1080p without any major issues. Keep in mind that the Nvidia GPU is still faster and more stable than the latest competing integrated Intel Iris Xe or Radeon Vega solutions because the GeForce series is generally much better optimized for games.
The main catch here is the low system RAM of just 8 GB. Furthermore, RAM is soldered meaning owners will be stuck with 8 GB for the life of the product. We would have gladly traded some storage space for additional RAM, but alas, no such options are available. Nonetheless, this is still a very good deal all things considered.
