The 2019 model Lenovo Flex 14 offers a decent amount of performance considering its USD $800 price tag. While it fails to stand out in any meaningful way, it is still an overall good bang-for-the-buck convertible.

At the end of the day, the Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 14 2-in-1 laptop is a great laptop and worth picking up. You can’t look away from that affordable starting price of US$359.99 and the specs that come with it. Sure, there were a few things that you can take away as cons such as the slow bootup times or the sound quality being too quiet but everything else makes up for those issues. I’d recommend this laptop to anyone who is looking for something while on a budget and doesn’t need anything too powerful.

If you don't mind cranking up the screen brightness, you'll find Lenovo's IdeaPad Flex 14 an attractive convertible laptop for $899.99—a Core i5 2-in-1 that competes well with more costly Core i7s.

A no-frills convertible Chromebook designed for grade schoolers, travel, or a secondary backup laptop. It's relatively sturdy if you can get past the chunky size.

Lenovo: Lenovo ("Le" from English legend, novo (Latin) for new) was founded in 1984 as a Chinese computer trading company. As of 2004, the company was the largest laptop manufacturer in China and, after acquiring IBM's PC division in 2005, the fourth largest in the world. In addition to desktops and notebooks, the company manufactures monitors, projectors, servers, etc, and specializes in developing, manufacturing and marketing consumer electronics, personal computers, software, enterprise solutions and related services.
In 2016, the company ranked first in the world in computer sales. It still held it in 2023 with about 23% global market share. Important product lines are Thinkpad, Legion and Ideapad.
In 2011, it acquired a majority stake in Medion AG, a European computer hardware manufacturer. In 2014, Motorola Mobility was purchased, which gave Lenovo a boost in the smartphone market.

14.00:
14 inch display size represents a middle ground between the small subnotebook formats and the screens of the standard 15 inch laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, provides good resolutions with usable detail sizes, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact.
In the past, 14-inch devices were very rare, but now they are the standard for laptops after the 15-inchers.
