Following a leak that ZTE's Nubia brand plans to launch its own take on the iPhone 17 Air, the same source has now provided a full spec sheet alongside a render and real life image of the phone which is reportedly called the Nubia Air.
The Nubia Air will have a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 1224 x 2720 resolution according to the spec sheet posted by Evan Blass on X. There's no mention of any type of protection, but that isn't to say it doesn't have one. However, thanks to the leaked render, we know the display has a centered punch hole for the front-facing camera which is a 20MP sensor.
The phone will have a protruding camera bar placed at the top like we have seen in leaked renders of the iPhone 17 Air. However, while the iPhone 17 Air will have only one rear camera, the Nubia Air will sport three cameras; although only the main sensor seems to be the useful one of the lot.
The camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor paired with a 2MP sensor and a 0.08MP sensor. Nubia will ship the Air with a Unisoc T8300 processor which has 2x Cortex-A78 cores and 6x Cortex-A55 cores. The Nubia Air will be available in a single configuration with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
The spec sheet also mentions the phone will have a 5,000mAh battery capacity but there's no mention of how fast it charges. The Nubia Air will have dual SIM support (nano-SIM), Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 5, NFC, and a fingerprint scanner. Finally, the spec sheet mentions that the phone will ship with Android 15 out of the box.
The render shows the Nubia Air will be available in gold with a red power button, however, the leaked live photo is of a gray variant. Both color options have a metal-like finish and curved edges. The dimensions of the phone are 164.17 × 76.57 × 6.7 mm while its weight is 172 grams. When compared to the iPhone 17 Air which is reported to be 5.5mm thick and the Galaxy S25 Edge (512GB version available on Amazon for $1,099.99) which has a thickness of 5.8mm, the Nubia Air is thicker.
There's no info on when the Nubia Air will be announced and how much it will cost.
