The Motorola Edge 60 series has already launched in several markets including Europe and Asia. However, Motorola is yet to announce this year's Edge model for North America. While we await a launch date, a leak has revealed renders of the Motorola Edge 2025 that will be sold in the US.
Shared on X by Evan Blass (@evleaks), the official renders and promotional images show the 2025 model of the Motorola Edge from various angles. The images reveal the Motorola Edge 2025 will retain the design of its predecessor, the Motorola Edge 2024, at least on the front. However, the rear is where the big change is.
The Motorola Edge 2025 is shown to have a curved display with a centered punch hole for the front-facing camera. The curved frame houses the volume and power buttons on the right as well as an additional button on the left. This key, which is called the Quick Button, makes a comeback from last year's model. It works as a shortcut key for launching preset apps or carrying out actions such as opening your email app or using the phone as a webcam for your PC.
Unlike last year's Motorola Edge, the Motorola Edge 2025 will have three rear cameras. The additional sensor and the redesigned LED flash has resulted in a much larger camera island. Like other Motorola smartphones unveiled this year, the Edge 2025 will have a faux leather finish and will be available in a Pantone color.
The renders show a green variant similar to that of the Moto G 2025 (available on Amazon for $199.99), and there's a chance it will be the only color option available considering the Motorola Edge 2024 is also sold in Midnight Blue only.
There are no details of the phone's specifications but we can expect it to have an OLED display with a high refresh rate, an in-display fingerprint scanner, an IP68 dust and water resistance rating, a large battery capacity, support for at least 68W fast charging, and 15W wireless charging. It should also run Android 15 out of the box.
There is also no mention of when the Motorola Edge 2025 will be announced, but based on last year's model launching in June and the timing of this leak, there's a possibility the phone's launch isn't far off.
