Apparent marketing images of the DJI Avata and new DJI FPV Goggles have leaked. Showing several design changes from the DJI FPV and DJI FPV Goggles V2, the pair are expected to debut next month, after the release of the DJI RS3 and RS3 Pro.

DJI has already teased that it will announce the RS3 and RS3 Pro camera gimbals tomorrow. However, @DealsDrone has emphasised that the company has another drone in the pipeline, having already revealed the Mini 3 Pro, the M30 and the M30T this year alone. As we have reported previously, DJI also has the Avata in development, a successor to the DJI FPV (first-person view).

On the one hand, @DealsDrone has leaked another hands-on photo of the DJI Avata itself. Supposedly, the DJI Avata will weigh less than 500 g, while maintaining the image quality of the Mini 3 Pro. For reference, the Mini 3 Pro has a 1/1.3-inch camera that shoots in up to 48 MP or 4K/60 FPS with an f/1.7 aperture.

On the other hand, @DealsDrone has provided an image of the FPV goggles with which they expect the DJI Avata to ship. As DroneDJ notes, the DJI Avata's goggles look smaller than those that DJI includes with the FPV. Additionally, the new goggles appear to contain two antennas, compared to the four that the FPV Goggles V2 has. It remains to be seen whether these goggles will support the same feature set as the FPV Goggles V2, considering that DJI has included half the number of antennas.

As it stands, DJI is believed to have scheduled the Avata's release for next month, with the Inspire 3 to arrive later in the year. In the meantime, the company will announce the RS3 and RS3 Pro at a launch event tomorrow, which commences at 09:00 EDT.
