Leak suggests Dell may launch a successor to the Precision 7760 workstation with an Intel Arc Pro GPU
If a Tweet from Emerald_x86 is to be believed, Dell may launch a successor to the Precision 7760 later this year with a mysterious Intel Arc Pro GPU. According to the leaked spec sheet, the workstation will be powered by the yet-to-be-announced 12th gen Alder Lake-HX processors. The entry-level model of the Dell laptop will allegedly be equipped with an 8-core Alder Lake-HX Core i5 or i7 with a TDP of 55 W. The top-of-the-line model will be packing a 12th gen Core i9 with a total of 8 cores.
For GPUs, the workstation is allegedly configurable with up to an Nvidia RTX A5000 or “Intel professional graphics.” In one leaked slide, the Intel card is referred to as the “Intel DG2 SKU 2” which, according to previous leaks, is rumored to be a workstation GPU slated to launch in Q3 or late summer. This Intel Arc Pro card will reportedly come in two flavors, one with a 90 W and another with a 125 W TDP.
Other specifications include support for up to 128 GB DDR5 non-ECC memory and four M.2 2280 slots with support for PCIe Gen 4 x4.
