Dell Precision 7770 and 7670 now available for purchase with Intel 12th gen vPro CPUs and Nvidia RTX A5500 graphics
Announced earlier in the year, Dell is now ready to ship its latest Precision models to professionals and workstation users. The new Precision 7770 directly replaces the older Precision 7760 by introducing both new processors and a new chassis design while the Precision 7670 is the first 16-inch model in the Precision family.
Notable features of the Precision 7770 include its uncommon Core i5-12600HX, i7-12850HX, and i9-12950HX vPro options whereas most other workstation laptops have yet to offer 12th gen vPro CPUs. It's also one of the few to ship with Nvidia RTX A1000, A3000, A4500, and A5500 GPUs alongside an optional 4K UHD 120 Hz DCI-P3 IPS panel.
As for the Precision 7670, this particular model should cater to users who want something a bit smaller than the Precision 7770 without needing to resort to a 15.6-inch Precision 7560. Its CPU and GPU options are exactly the same as on the Precision 7770, but its 16:10 form factor means different display options and a lack of anything higher than a 60 Hz refresh rate for the time being.
