Thanks to a leak, the chipset that will power the Oppo Reno 14 Pro has been revealed. The MediaTek processor is yet to be announced but it might make its debut in Oppo's new Reno smartphone.

Oppo is planning to announce the Reno 14 series soon, but while it is yet to announce a launch date, details of the new phones have begun circulating. The latest is a leak that reveals the chipset that will power the Reno 14 Pro.

The Reno 14 Pro was spotted on Geekbench recently, although it was reportedly called the Reno 14. The phone, which has the model number 'PKZ110' was benchmarked with an octa-core processor believed to be the MediaTek Dimensity 8400. Now, a renowned leaker has revealed the actual chipset that powers the phone.

According to Digital Chat Station, the Reno 14 Pro is powered by the Dimensity 8450 which appears to be a variant of the Dimensity 8400. The chipset is yet to be announced, but there's a likelihood it may make its debut alongside the Reno 14 Pro.

Based on the Geekbench result, the processor has a CPU with three clusters (1+3+4). The prime core has a clock speed of 3.25GHz, the three performance cores are clocked at 3.0GHz, and the four efficiency cores are clocked at 2.1GHz. The chipset is paired with 12GB of RAM but we won't rule out the possibility of a 16GB RAM version like last year's Reno 13 Pro. The Reno 14 Pro should make its debut in China before heading to other markets.

In addition to the Reno 14 Pro's chipset, the source also confirmed that Oppo will launch a new pair of earbuds called the Enco Clip and a new tablet that will launch as the Oppo Pad SE which will have an 11-inch LCD display and a Helio G100 processor, although a previous report said it has a Helio G99 processor. It is also reported to have a 9,340mAh battery, support for 33W fast charging, weigh 530 grams, and have a thickness of 7.39mm.
