Nothing is working on the successor to the Nothing Phone 2, and just recently, the company's CEO, Carl Pei, has shared the launch timeline of the smartphone. Per one of the recent tweets from Pei, Nothing's upcoming top-end phone is expected to launch in Q3 2025, which ranges from July to September 2025.
While Pei didn't specifically narrow down the date, a new leak from Yogesh Brar, a known tipster, has narrowed down the possible launch timeline. Brar claims that the Nothing Phone 3 will launch on July 2025. A July launch doesn't sound too off, as the predecessor launched in the same month of 2023.
As for the smartphone itself, not much is known about the device. Of course, in June 2024, Carl Pei hinted that the company would focus more on AI and software. More specifically, Pei shared that the Nothing Phone 3 will have deep AI integration, and a glimpse of that is already present in the Phone 3a series.
To fill you in, the Nothing Phone 3a (available on Amazon) and 3a Pro come with something that the company calls Essential Space. At the core, it's a hub of AI features that are integrated into Nothing OS. Both these two phones also feature a dedicated button for easy access to this hub.
The Nothing Phone 3 could feature the same Essential Key as well. As for the leaks around the smartphone, there are no concrete details on the possible specs. However, given that the predecessor featured a flagship SoC, albeit a generation older than the other flagship phones launched in the same timeline, the upcoming smartphone is also expected to sport a Snapdragon 8 series SoC.
