Following another classic Battlefield moment that recently caught players’ attention, a fresh leak is now making the rounds. Renowned dataminer Temporyal, known for sharing reliable insights from the game files, has posted new details on X about upcoming content. According to the leak, several unreleased weapons have been discovered in the game's data:
- MG5
- Bren 2
- Scorpion Evo 3
- Škorpion vz. 61 (presumably as a secondary weapon)
The leak also reveals several new gadgets, including the airburst grenade launcher, a sticky grenade launcher (GL40 STKY), the M320A1 AT designed for use against vehicles, and the RGO grenade with a short fuse. According to Temporyal, the M320A1 AT will likely belong to the Assault class, while the GL40 STKY and RGO grenade have yet to be linked to a specific class.
Little Bird returns
The biggest reveal from the leak is the return of the iconic AH-6 Little Bird helicopter, which so far has only been available in Battlefield 6’s single-player and Portal modes. According to Temporyal, it will make its multiplayer debut with Season 2. Both factions will reportedly have access to the same standard version of the chopper, with no faction-specific differences. While there is no official release date for Season 2 yet, speculation currently points to January 20, 2026.
Community rejoices
Both on X and Reddit, players are celebrating the return of the Little Bird – a long-requested feature since the game’s launch. There’s also excitement around the potential addition of new weapons like the Scorpion Evo 3 and Bren 2. However, the MG5 seems to be getting the most attention, likely because it’s very similar to the already popular MG4 (M123K).
