Just two days after Microsoft revealed the latest wave of Game Pass additions on November 20, the Xbox Partner Preview followed with even more surprises. Alongside new game reveals and fresh gameplay showcases, two unexpected titles dropped straight into Xbox Game Pass: CloverPit and Total Chaos. While CloverPit offers a gambling-themed roguelike experience in the style of Balatro, Total Chaos delivers first-person survival horror and arrives as a day-one release.
As we covered at launch, CloverPit centers around a deadly slot machine. Players wake up in a small room with a grated floor and must repay their debts by racking up winnings on a one-armed bandit. Fail to make the required deposit, and the floor will open – bringing the run to an abrupt and fatal end. The game features more than 150 items that enhance combinations or increase the odds of rare patterns. According to Steam users, the real appeal lies in experimenting with these items and chasing ever higher scores. CloverPit is now available through PC Game Pass, Xbox Game Pass Premium and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
Total Chaos is a survival horror game that leans heavily into psychological terror and an oppressive island setting. Players find themselves stranded on the abandoned mining colony of Fort Oasis, whose ruins are filled with madness, grotesque creatures and an ominous voice on the radio.. The gameplay blends classic survival horror with crafting, where every item – from a single screw to a cartridge – can make the difference. The atmosphere is further enhanced by the dark soundtrack, which features contributions from Akira Yamaoka, known for his work on Silent Hill. Total Chaos is available exclusively through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
