A launch video of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ smartphones has been published on the internet by Slashleaks, a little bit ahead of the official unveiling on February 25th during Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked press event. The video shows off both devices in all their glory and reveals special Enterprise Editions of the phone for business users.
The launch video itself mainly shows us a couple of features of the phones and uses the tagline "The Phone. Reimagined." The majority of the Galaxy S9 rumors are confirmed in the video, and the design corresponds with earlier leaks as well staying mostly identical to that of the Galaxy S8. As previously leaked, the fingerprint scanner of the S9 has been moved below the camera compared to the S8.
One of the new features is App Pairing, which allows you to create shortcuts for two tasks opened in multitasking mode. The built-in camera app also features AR integration and live translation, similar to that of Google Translate. The new DeX Pad which has been leaked before is also prominently featured in the footage and will allow users to use the phone's display as a trackpad.
An interesting reveal in the video is the existence of Enterprise Edition Galaxy S9's which are aimed particularly at business users. This special edition of Samsung's flagship phone features 24/7 technical support, extended warranties, up to four years of security updates and the possiblity to control OTA updates remotely.
Samsung will officially unveil the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ at the Galaxy Unpacked event during the Mobile World Congress.
