Since we already heard quite a few Galaxy S9-related rumors so far, bumping into even more should not be surprising. In fact, it seems like the time has come for the Samsung Galaxy S9 to enter the mass production stage, just in time for an early launch during CES 2018. However, most rumors claim that this next-gen flagship will be unveiled at MWC 2018.
Leaving aside the next-gen processor and the fact that the Galaxy S9 is not expected to bring any major improvements over the Galaxy S8, we already heard that a new desktop dock is on its way. The latest rumor brings another piece of the Galaxy S9 puzzle to the table--the name of this new accessory for Samsung's next Galaxy flagship. This name is DeX Pad and, sadly, it does not come next to any technical details yet. However, the leak also mentioned that the DeX Pad will only come in black.
The first time we heard about an updated DeX Station it was when Evan Blass came out with this piece of information. Now, GalaxyClub gained access to an anonymous insider who revealed the name of this new desktop dock. Just as it happened with the DeX Station and the Galaxy S8/Galaxy S8+, the DeX Pad is expected to be unveiled next to the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+, but it should hit the market a while after them. There is no information about the price of this accessory yet, but we will get back to it and the flagships it is supposed to come with as soon as we hear something new.
