LILYGO has introduced the T7 S3 ESP32-S3, a developer board that supports Arduino IDE, MicroPython and PlatformIO. Equipped with the ESP32-S3-WROOM-1-N16R8, the LILYGO T7 S3 ESP32-S3 also has a USB Type-C port and supports LiPo connectivity, among other things.

LILYGO has introduced the T7 S3 ESP32-S3, a new developer board that measures just 39 x 31 x 6 mm. According to the company, the board features 8 MB PSRAM, 16 MB SPI flash storage and twin 20-pin headers for ADC, GPIO, SPI, touch interface and UART expansion, among other things. Additionally, the developer board has a USB Type-C port that supplies 5V power and a 2-pin JST connector for adding a LiPo battery.

At the heart of the T7 S3 ESP32-S3 is the ESP32-S3-WROOM-1-N16R8, a module that utilises the Espressif Systems ESP32-S3 dual-core Xtensa LX7 processor and 512 SRAM, as well as Bluetooth 5.0 LE and Wi-Fi 4 connectivity. Supposedly, the device supports Arduino IDE, MicroPython and PlatformIO, although CNX Software notes that LILYGO offers 'very basic instructions' in this regard.

Unfortunately, the T7 S3 ESP32-S3 is no longer available through AliExpress, where it initially sold for between US$9.58 and US$11.98, including shipping. Alternatively, Tindie is accepting waitlist orders for the T7 S3 ESP32-S3 at US$7.21 per unit. You can read more about the T7 S3 ESP32-S3 on LILYGO's GitHub page.
