Reviews for the LG K4
LTE at an entry-level price. LG offers an affordable entry-level smartphone with LTE functionality for 119 Euros (~$133), dubbed K4 LTE. That is, however, its only highlight. The review sample makes a rather outdated impression in all other aspects. Have too many cutbacks been made?

The biggest barrier for the K4 is that low price however, as handsets like the Motorola Moto E and new Vodafone Smart Prime 7 offer even more phone (4G, a 720p HD display, higher resolution cameras and a partly metal build in the case of the Prime 7) for even less. The LG K4 has its place, but we wouldn't call it a worthwhile purchase in the long run.

Model: The LG K4 is an Android smartphone with decent performance targeted at users who are new in the smartphone industry or users who are looking for a secondary smartphone with 4G LTE and dual-SIM capability. The chassis is entirely made from plastic with a slightly textured removable back, which makes it comfortable in the hand. The Android 5.1.1 Lollipop system features a 1 GHz Mediatek MT6735M quad core processor, a Mali-T720MP2 graphic card, 8 GB of internal storage and 1 GB RAM. The storage capacity can be expanded by up to 32 GB with a microSD card. The 4.5-inch IPS LCD features a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and supports touch input. The screen produces decent colors and blacks, while whites are not quite accurate.
In addition, the phone comes with a 5 MP rear camera with autofocus, LED flash, touch focus, Geo-tagging and face detection and a 2 MP front camera. The rear camera is capable of recording 720p videos at 30 fps. In addition, the smartphone delivers features such as an accelerometer, proximity sensors and a removable back cover for convenient battery replacement. It has a convenient weight of just 120 g and there are 2 colors available; white and indigo. The 1940 mAh battery can last up to 9 hours.

This display is tiny. You will probably see very little on the screen and be able to use mini-resolutions.

LG Electronics Inc. is a subsidiary of LG Group. It is a South Korean company and was founded as Goldstar Co, Ltd, in 1958. The group offers products in the fields of information technology, consumer electronics and mobile communications, and home appliances. LG Electronics is the world's third largest home appliance manufacturer. As a notebook manufacturer, LG only became known to a wider audience in the German-speaking market in 2005. After a few years, LG largely withdrew from the laptop sector. The product range includes OLED, LED/LCD and plasma TVs, home theater systems, Blu-ray players as well as audio and video players.
65.16%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
