LEGO unveils a new Jurassic Park set, with another surprise in store

Jurassic Park is a renowned franchise that caused a sensation when the first film was released in 1993. Since then, numerous products have been released, bringing dinosaurs back into the spotlight. And recently, LEGO unveiled an Instagram video showcasing a new set inspired by these films.
Indeed, in this video that recreates a scene from the first film in which Dennis is attacked by a Dilophosaurus, we can see the new set, which is none other than the franchise’s famous jeep. However, while fans are excited about this announcement, very little information is available.
Thus, according to several people on Reddit, it appears that this set, named 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler, includes two minifigures, one of which represents Dennis Nedry. As for the jeep, it looks like the ones in the movies, featuring the same colors, and contains 1,924 pieces. But don’t expect a very large set, although it appears to be mid-sized. However, some details are still missing, particularly its price, even if the latest rumors suggested a price of $199.99 and a release date of May 15, 2026.
While the announcement of this set inspired by the first films is good news, LEGO has other surprises in store for fans. Indeed, at the beginning of the video, we can see a sign showing a triceratops. It’s presented as a skeleton, and we can also see the word “New” on a yellow background. In other words, this could be the next set from this franchise, which would contain 1,154 pieces and would be sold for $99.99.
