Khadas has officially introduced the Mind Graphics eGPU Module for its workstation ecosystem. The external graphics card solution sports a desktop-level Nvidia RTX 4060 Ti and can deliver up to 128 GT/s of data transmission through Mind Link, which is 4x higher than Thunderbolt 4 or USB4.

The Khadas Mind has been in the market for nearly a year now, and so far, the brand has launched one add-on module for this modular mini PC, the Mind Dock. It brought additional ports, speakers, and a fingerprint sensor. Now, the company has enhanced the potential of the tiny computer by announcing the Mind Graphics eGPU Module.

This external graphics card solution takes advantage of the Mind Link found in Khadas Mind. It also has a Thunderbolt 4 port, which you can use to connect the dock to a compatible laptop or mini PC. The eGPU module sports a desktop Nvidia RTX 4060 Ti and can deliver up to 128 GT/s of data transmission through Mind Link. To compare, Thunderbolt 4 or USB4 ports can offer up to 32 GT/s.

Other than that, the Mind Graphics eGPU Module has a 300-watt internal power supply. That's enough to handle a 160W Nvidia RTX 4060 Ti graphics card (8 GB PNY Verto OC curr. $369.99 on Amazon) and have 140W left to power the Khadas Mind mini PC. The module also has a fingerprint sensor, microphone array, and stereo speakers.

There are a good number of ports as well, including:

  • 2x HDMI 2.1 with up to 4K/60 Hz support
  • 3x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A
  • 1x Thunderbolt 4 with USB Power Delivery and DisplayPort Alt mode
  • 1x 2.5 GbE Ethernet
  • 1x 3.5 mm audio
  • 1x SD 4.0 card reader

Khadas also highlights the compact and sleek nature of the Mind Graphics eGPU Module. It features a 2.5-liter design and has an aluminum body with RGB lights on the front. The compact form factor, combined with a weight of 2.7 KG (around 6 lbs), should make it easy to carry it around from one room to another.

When it comes to the price, it's a rather expensive product. The Mind Graphics eGPU Module has a pre-sale price of $999, and all orders will ship soon.
