Juno Tab 4 Linux tablets launch in 10.5'' and 13'' versions powered by Intel processors

Juno Computers has released two new Linux tablets, arriving as the Juno Tab 4 10.5'' LTE and the Juno Tab 4 - 13'' (Wi-Fi). Both tablets are powered by Intel processors, and buyers can choose one of five Linux distributions to be preinstalled on the tablets.

The Juno Tab 4 10.5'' LTE features a 10.5-inch LCD panel with a 1920 × 1080 resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Intel Core i3-N300, an 8-core processor with a max turbo frequency of 3.80 GHz. The CPU is paired with a soldered 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and a 1TB M.2 2242 SATA III SSD (removable). The Juno Tab 4 10.5'' LTE has a 5MP camera on the rear and a 2MP front-facing camera.

For ports, you get a micro HDMI port, 2x USB-C 3.1 ports with support for charging and video output, and an audio jack. It also has a microphone, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, an LTE modem, and a nano SIM card slot that doubles as a microSD card slot for adding more storage. Juno says users will not be limited to just internet connectivity, but can also make calls with the tablet too.

There are pogo pins at the bottom of the tablet for connecting an included keyboard. The 10-inch tablet has a 29.6Wh battery housed in a metal chassis that measures 24.6 × 17.2 × 0.9 cm. The spec sheet says it ships with a 36W charger.

The larger Juno Tab 4 - 13'' has a 13-inch 60Hz IPS display with a 1600 × 2560 resolution. Under the hood is an Intel Core Ultra 5 115U processor, 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, and a 1TB M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe SSD (removable). It also has a 5MP rear camera, but the front-facing camera is also 5MP.

For connectivity, the tablet has Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, 2x USB 3.1 Type-C ports with support for video out, and 1x USB 3.0 Type-A port. There's no microSD card slot and it lacks an LTE modem. There are stereo speakers, a microphone, and two fans for cooling, all of which are housed in a magnesium alloy body. It packs a 42.71Wh battery and comes with a 65W charger. Like the smaller model, it comes with a detachable keyboard with backlight.

There's no info yet on pricing and availability of the two Juno 4 tablets.
