JVC Kenwood launches three new wireless earbuds in Japan covering budget, mid‑range, and premium segments

The HA-A4T entry model offers a semi in-ear design similar to Apple AirPods and large 12 mm drivers at an MSRP of 5,500 yen (~$35). They are offered in black, blue, purple, and white, and are IPX4 water resistant.

The earphones offer instant on when removed from the charging case, and their semi in-ear design eliminates the need to clear eartips. They offer flat, bass, and clear EQ modes for sound tuning.

The HA-NP80T mid-range model offers an around-the-ear, open-ear design and large 17 x 12 mm oval drivers at an MSRP of 19,800 yen (~$125). They are offered in Slim Black, Ecru Beige, Moss Green, and Mauve Pink, and are IP55 water resistant.

The earphones are designed not to insert into the eardrums, enabling surrounding sounds to be heard at all times without removal, while around-the-ear silicone ear hooks help keep them in place when running. Importantly, they utilize noise leakage reduction technology to help minimize sound from being heard by nearby passengers in trains or fellow coworkers in offices. 

The HA-FW5000T premium model offers the company's best sound reproduction thanks to 10 mm hybrid wood drivers at an MSRP of 41,800 yen (~$260). They are offered in Sunburst Brown, Piano Black, and Indigo Blue colorways, and are IP55 water resistant.

They also come with self-healing body coating, active noise cancellation, K2 sound-quality restoration technology, and spatial audio with personalized ear optimization. They come with a set of EP-FX13 Spiral Dot Pro SF eartips, which are designed to minimize audio muddiness while enhancing the sound reproduction of delicate details, and support the Hi-Res Audio LDAC audio codec for high-resolution music playback.
