Yet another Intel Panther Lake chip has shown up on Geekbench after the Core Ultra 5 338H broke cover a few weeks ago. Now, we get our first look at the Core Ultra X7 358H, Intel's X-branded chip that is tipped to arrive with the most powerful iGPU in the Panther Lake lineup.
The Core Ultra X7 358H is equipped with an Arc B890 iGPU featuring 96 Compute Units (12 EUs). It scores 57,001 in Geekbench's OpenCL benchmark and has a boost clock of 2.5 GHz. That represents a 38% performance increase over the Arc 140T (41,013 average) found on Arrow Lake SKUs. Compared to Panther Lake's Arc 140V (29598), that represents a near 92% improvement.
We also get a glimpse at the Core Ultra X7 358H's CPU specs. Geekbench says it has two clusters- one with 4 cores and a second one with 12 cores, effectively confirming it is a 16-core part. However, previous leaks indicate that it has a 4P + 8E + 4 LPE layout, and Geekbench has likely combined two clusters together. It has a boost clock of 4.78 GHz, which was foretold by the aforementioned leak.
The laptop in question is the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Book6 Pro. An alternate variant with a Core Ultra 5 338H leaked earlier with an Arc B570 iGPU. It has 32 GB of RAM, with 16 GB allocated to the iGPU in this instance. It is expected to launch next year alongside the more powerful Galaxy Book6 Ultra.
