Intel Atom x3-C3130
The Intel Atom x3-C3130 is an entry level dual-core SoC for Android based smartphones and tablets. It integrates two Atom 64-Bit CPU cores clocked at 1000 MHz, a 32Bit single channel LPDDR2-800 memory controller (3.2 GB/s), an eMMC 4.41 Flash interface, an ARM Mali-400 MP2 graphics card clocked at 480 MHz and a 3G (UMTS), Bluetooth, and GPS radio.
According to benchmarks from Intel using MobileXPRT 2013 (Light Media Editing), the x3-C3130 is significantly faster than Cortex-A7 based quad-core SoCs. E.g. compared to the MediaTek MT6582 (4x Cortex-A7 1.3 GHz) and Qualcomm MSM8212 (4x Cortex-A7 1.2 GHz), the Atom x3 is 50 % respectively 40 % faster.
The chip is produced at TSMC in 28nm and intended for small and cheap smartphones and tablets.
