The Indiedroid Nova is a new single-board computer, albeit one that is heavily based on the Pico Pi V2.0. The Indiedroid Nova features a Rockchip RK3588S SoC, up to 16 GB of RAM and upgradeable eMMC 5.1 flash storage, among other features.

The Indiedroid Nova is a new single-board computer (SBC) with a familiar 85 x 56 mm form factor. For reference, the Indiedroid Nova is the global version of the Pico Pi V2.0 sold through ameriDroid with a heatsink and a fan. Unsurprisingly, the manufacturer has also included a 40-pin GPIO header that is said to be compatible with Raspberry Pi accessories.

In theory, the Indiedroid Nova is an alternative to the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B, although the latter will have better software support than the former. Regardless, the Indiedroid Nova also has a Rockchip RK3588S SoC, which consists of four ARM Cortex-A76 and Cortex-A55 CPU cores. Additionally, the SoC has a Mali-G610 GPU and an NPU capable of achieving 6 TOPS of AI performance.

Moreover, the SBC has 1 GB, 4 GB or 32 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and 8 GB, 32 GB or 128 GB of replaceable eMMC 5.1 flash storage. Furthermore, the Indiedroid Nova has a Micro HDMI 2.1 port, five USB Type ports, including a USB Type-C port and a Gigabit Ethernet connection. Elsewhere, the SBC ships with an RTL8821CS modem, which provides Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 5 connectivity, plus an active cooling solution. The Indiedroid Nova starts at US$144.95; more information can be on ameriDroid.
