A new single-board computer, the IBR500, is vying for the attention of customers. It is a single-board computer available with two different processor chips, namely the MediaTek Genio 510 or MediaTek Genio 700. Compatibility with Yocto 5.15 and Android 14 is given. It features 4 or 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM with a clock speed of 3,733 MHz, along with 64 or 128 GB of eMMC storage. Storage expansion is possible via USB mass storage, with one USB 3.0 available. Network connectivity is exclusively wired and via Ethernet, but a wireless module can be retrofitted using an M.2 2230 card (Key E).
A COM port is on board, which is particularly relevant in industrial contexts and can be used to connect external devices such as measuring equipment. The 147 x 102 millimeter board lacks an extensive pin header, but six GPIO ports and one I2C port are available, which allows external sensors and actuators to be connected. Two monitors can be connected via HDMI, with one outputting 4K material at 30 frames per second and the other at 60 frames per second. The total AI performance is specified as up to 3.2 TOPS, which allows video material to be analyzed in real time.
