Huawei MediaPad M2 10 is the Chinese manufacturer’s bigger, 10-inch version of previously released 8-inch MediaPad M2 8. The new tablet, showcased today at CES 2016 in Las Vegas, features a FullHD IPS display and a unibody metal chassis.
The tablet is powered by Huawei’s own octa-core Kirin 930 processor and comes in two versions – silver-coloured, with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of built-in storage as well as gold with 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage space. The latter also features an active stylus. Both lack LTE capability in their basic variants, but luckily LTE-enabled variants will be also available (for $50 more than the regular ones).
Other specifications, common for both versions, include: 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 13 MP rear camera, 5 MP front camera and a 6,600 mAh battery. The Huawei MediaPad M2 10 is less than 0.3 inches thick and weighs about 1.1 pounds.
The price of the silver, 2 GB version has been set to $349, while the more powerful, golden M2 10 can be bought for $419 (plus the $50 for LTE variants). Availability should start in Q2 2016.
