CES 2016 | Huawei P9 to launch at CES with 6 GB of RAM
According to recent reports, it’s very likely that Huawei will officially present its new flagship smartphone, the Huawei P9, tomorrow, at the company’s pre-CES 2016 event. Initially, the launch was supposed to take place in March.
The earlier launch is not the most exciting part of the new reports, though. Apparently, the Huawei P9 is going to feature a whopping 6 GB of DDR4 memory, which would make it the first handset on the market equipped with such a huge amount of RAM.
The leaks suggest that Huawei P9 will come with a 5.2-inch, 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution display as well as the Kirin 950 processor under the hood. It’s also very likely that the Chinese manufacturer will launch two other versions of the P9 – the P9 Lite with 4 GB of RAM and 5-inch screen, as well as a 6.8-inch phablet with 6 GB of operating memory. All new devices are reportedly going to feature 13 MP cameras.
Should the reports turn out to be true, the Huawei P9 will be priced at a hefty $768.
